Port price simulator according to fuel price variation (from 16/04/2026)

This tool allows you to automatically calculate the transport price review in accordance with current regulations, following the recent legal reform of Royal Decree-Law 9/2026, of April 14, on urgent measures in the field of transport, which reinforces the obligation to pass on fuel cost variations.

The new regulation establishes that the review of the price due to diesel variation is:

• Mandatory in all transport contracts
• Automatic, without the need for agreement between the parties
• Applicable according to an official formula, based on the evolution of the diesel price

The calculator determines the increase or decrease in the transport price based on:

• The variation in the diesel price
• The type of vehicle used
• The coefficients established by the regulations

The result obtained reflects the adjustment that must be applied to the transport price, which must be itemized on the invoice, as required by law.

Fuel prices using the average diesel price before taxes (PAI) published by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge are provided on the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility's website.
